Clara Barton Camp Scholarship: Supporting Local Children with Type 1 Diabetes
The Braintree Rotary Club is proud to offer two full scholarships for children living with Type 1 diabetes in Braintree or surrounding communities to attend one week of Clara Barton Camp in Oxford, MA this summer.
Clara Barton Camp is a nationally respected program designed specifically for children with Type 1 diabetes. Campers experience all the joy of summer camp—friendship, independence, outdoor adventure—while receiving the medical support and diabetes management guidance they need to thrive. For many families, this camp becomes a life‑changing source of confidence and community.
This scholarship reflects Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self and our dedication to supporting the health, well‑being, and empowerment of young people in our community. By removing financial barriers, we hope to ensure that every eligible child has the opportunity to experience the connection, learning, and joy that Clara Barton Camp provides.
